The sage with a yellow touch that you needed in your garden! This plant is ornamental for its yellow flowers and for culinary use since its leaves and flowers are edible! It can be grown on edges, rockeries and for low hedges.
Semi-evergreen shrub up to 50cm tall. Small, oval and velvety very aromatic green leaves. Clusters of pure yellow flowers that attract bees and butterflies.
The dried leaves are used to flavour or decorate dishes. From its flowers preserves, jam and marmalade can be made. The essential oil is used to make cosmetics and toothpaste. It is stimulating and digestive. It cures respiratory and digestive diseases and headaches.
Make a hole that is at least twice as wide and deep as the plant's root ball. Crumble and stir the soil effectively: this will facilitate rooting. Take the plant out of the container and carefully cut off any roots that may have broken off by slightly loosening the root ball. Mix the removed soil with substrate and fill part of the hole with this mixture. Place the plant in the hole, cover it with the rest of the mixture and compact the soil around the root ball, treading carefully on it. Water abundantly.
