Lemon Thyme is a creeping thyme with lemon-scented leaves. It is used in a garden for flowerbeds, groundcover or to create green walls. Its leaves and flowers are valuable ingredients in the kitchen. It has recognized medicinal properties as antiseptic, disinfectant, deodorant and expectorant. Honeybee species.
Perennial creeping shrub that reaches 10 cm high. Pink flowers from late spring to summer. Requires full sun exposure.
Direct sowing in spring with temperatures of 20ºC. Cover the seeds lightly and keep the substrate moist until germination is completed.
