Its properties are found in its leaves, the most sugary part. Used to sweeten food and herbal tea. It can also relieve diseases as it is antioxidant, diuretic, digestive.
Evergreen plant reaching 1m in height with lanceolate, serrated leaves being a little hairy and dark green. Little white and tube-like flowers.
It grows in sandy and well drained soils.
Direct sowing at 20ºC in spring. All year indoor.
