SEEDS OF HYSSOPUS OFFICINALIS - HYSSOP

Decorative plant in gardens, rockery. Medicinal, culinary and aromatic plant. Dry flowers and leaves. 

Evergreen small shrub up to 30-60 cm with hermaphrodite deep blue flowers. Lanceolate leaves and bright red or orangey berries. Intense aroma.

The fresh and dry leaves can be used as an insect repellent. It was used to purify Christian temples and to look after lepers.
