Variety with aromatic olive green leaves, small purple tubular flowers in late summer.
Unavoidable in Thai cuisine for a whole series of dishes from salads, and raw vegetables, chicken to fish. It is also a valued plant for ornamental.
Direct sowing in spring. Lightly cover the seeds and maintain the humidity until germination is completed. Sowing indoor all year long.
