A culinary and medicinal plant. Good substitute for parsley. Once its leaves are dried they are used as species for its anise taste. It has diuretic, expectorant and aphrodisiac properties. High contents in vitamine C, carotene and magnesium. Decorates bunches or flower arrangements. Ideal plant in pot or as indoor plant.

Annual plant up to 80cm. The leaves are bright pale green and are anise scented. Flowers are white and small. The fruit is long and striped with a sweet fragrance.

Prefers neutral, cool and humid soils together with temperate temperatures.

Direct sowing March till August. All year round indoor.Lightly cover the seeds and maintain the humidity until germination is completed.
