SEEDS OF BEETROOT ’CYLINDRA’

Table or red beet perfect to be consumed as a vegetable! It has an elongated shape of about 14cm, strong and smooth purple.

Very good quality especially when it comes to taste it raw or cooked, very tender with caramel flavor.

It can be sowed all year round although it is preferable to do it in the spring. Before sowing, let the seeds soak for 30 minutes. Then sow in rows 30cm apart, with a depth of 3cm and about 10cm between them. We recommend that the soil be raked before planting and water abundantly after it.

Harvest takes place about 3-4 months after sowing.

It is a very resistant species that needs a clay or sandy soil, well drained and neutral or acidic pH. It does not need frequent watering, only when the soil is dry.
