Compact lettuce with tender, succulent leaves with a splash of red color towards the heart. Highly prized for its excellent mild taste and high vitamin content. Very old French variety (1885). Each lettuce is about 20-25cm in diameter and can weigh 120-180 grams.
Sowing from February to June. Harvest from April to September.
