This Asian green can also be used to flower a garden. Beautiful bloom of yellow and white flowers from July to September. This plant is rich in carotene, calcium, iron, vitamin C. In Chinese medicine this plant is used in case of stomach pains or digestive problems. Good pot plant.
The young leaves are consumed raw in salads, sauteed in wok and are part of many Asian dishes, including the Chop suey. The young flowers are used to make herbal tea. Above 25ºC the leaves take on a bitter taste, so it is advisable to grow this plant below this temperature if you want to use it as a vegetable.
Sowings under shelter in March April then transplanting in place. Or direct sowing in May

Our nursery has been flooded
