The Red Orach provides a very striking red foliage. Long, strong stems, of which seed pods grow inside. Rapid growth can reach 2.5m in height.

Direct sowing at temperatures of 8ºC night/15ºC day. Lightly cover the seeds and maintain the humidity until germination is completed.
Needs well drained and rich soils.
The leaves are edible both raw and cooked, have a mild flavor.
