SEEDS OF TOMATO ’SAN MARZANO 2’ - SOLANUM LYCOPERSICUM

This tomato variety of medium-late cycle will provide us with tomatoes until winter! The tomatoes are elongated cylindrical in shape and bright red when ripe with a consistent flesh. Their size is 7 to 10cm. It is said to be the variety that produces the best pasta sauces! Intense flavour, and less acidic. Perfect for dried tomatoes.

Indeterminate growing plant, very vigorous and healthy. Sowing time in seedbed is from March to July. Transplant to the vegetable garden with 5-6 leaves in a 70x40cm frame. Harvest after 3 months. It is advisable to prune the stems and shoots that the plant produces in excess.
