Curious white eggplant perfectly egg-shaped. It is a variety almost extinct but with a very high gastronomic value. With a rich flavour, it is perfect roasted or stuffed, also for stir-frying. Leave it to soak a few hours before cooking.
After 3 to 5 months from sowing, the fruits can be harvested. Prefers deep, fertile and well-drained soils. Use tutors to keep the plants upright.
The sowing takes place in March or April outdoors, while in the interior it is done from January. At 1cm deep and 45cm between plants. Seeds need temperature of 25ºC to germinate.
