This Mediterranean eggplant from the area of Valencia is recognisable by its violet skin with white veins. It is a very productive variety. Fleshy fruits between elongated and oval.
Eggplant should always be cooked before eating, as they contain an alkanoid that can damage the digestive system. It contains vitamins, antioxidants, iron, fibre and magnesium among many others.
It likes rich, drained soils and plenty of sun.
Sowing takes place from December to April. Harvest after 150 days.
