Tufted hairgrass that can be grown in edges and wet meadows.
Evergreen tufted plant of 20 to 120 cm tall. Flat, green, broad leaves.
Prefers sandy soils, not excessively rich and wet although tolerates poor soils. It is found in marshes, water meadows, riverbanks, and woodlands.
Direct sowing.
