Ideal tree for small gardens and urban zones. It is used in gardens for hedges and clumps and as an ornamental tree because of its foliage. Can be grown in coastal zones as it is resistant to sea winds and salt. The fruit is edible and can be used in pastry and for beverages.
Deciduous tree up to 10m. The leaves are lanceolate and pale green. The flowers are small, yellow and scented. The silver fruit is similar to an olive.
Adapts to any soils.
Soak the seeds in cool water for 48 hours before sowing at temperatures of 20ºC/25ºC.
