Ornamental tree widely used in gardening, for patios and paths.

Deciduous tree 8 m. Attractive pinky and magenta flowers. The leaves are heart-shaped, dark-green becoming yellow in autumn.

Put the seeds in water at 60ºC. Then let the seeds soak in this water that will cool down for 48h. Drain the seeds without letting them dry and stratify them in cold for 90 days. Sowing in spring with temperatures 18ºC/20ºC.
