Deciduous tree 30-40cm, with opposite lanceolate leaves. Flowers appear before the leaves. Very appreciated timber it is also used as an ornamental tree. The wood is very elastic and resistant, in addition to being used as fuel. The leaves and branches are also used as fodder for livestock.
