Very popular tree frequently planted in West Australia and South Australia. This Gum gets its name from the red flower cap that provides an interesting contrast to the yellow flowers in early summer. The flowers are very large, followed by showy seed pods.
Direct sowing in a susbtrate half sand and half peat. Slightly cover the sowing and maintain humidity until germination is completed.
