The most striking tree for its multi-colored bark! The falling layers of its bark in the form of strips, reveals its inner bark of an intense green color that darkens and ripens, leaving blue, purple, orange and garnet tones. A true rainbow in nature!
Great ornamental value, perfect to give a tropical and colorful touch in parks and gardens. Also widely used in reforestation and to restore the soil, as well as for its wood and its pulp to make paper.
Tree up to 70m conical in shape and fast growing. Lanceolate green leaves and flowers in cream-colored clusters.
Direct sowing in autumn and spring with temperatures between 20-30ºC and surface sowing. Keep the soil well drained and moist.
