Tree with splendid coral red flowers before the foliage.

Deciduous, thorny tree of about 12m. The leaves are elliptical to ovate. Flowers in racemes bright orange color. The flowers appear before the leaves. Also known under the name of E.lysistemon.

Planting & care

The wood of this tree is very fragile and can break easily because of frost and strong winds. Honeybee tree. It is a shelter for numerous birds, small animals and other insects.
