This maple is very useful for forming groups or as an alignment tree on roads and walks. The "maple syrup" is also extracted from this maple.
Deciduous tree up to 40m with smooth and grayish bark. Palmate leaves with serrated edge of bright green changing to yellowish in autumn. Small yellowish flowers that grow in clusters.
It grows in clay soils and well drained.
Direct sowing with temperatures of 10ºC at night and 20ºC during the day. Cover the seeds briefly and keep the substrate moist until germination is complete.
