Known for its incredible shades of colors in autumn this small tree is a must in a garden!. Bonsai.
Up to 7m. tall. Deciduous leaves shiny on the upperside and more opaque on the underside. Greenish flowers presenting little interest. Prefers limestone soils. It stands cold situations better than dry ones.
Direct sowing between in December till February. For spring sowings in March/April proceed before to a cold stratification of the seeds for 3 months.
