SEEDS OF ACER GRISEUM - PAPER-BARK MAPLE
Elegant tree perfect in parks and gardens. It has spectacular autumn foliage which includes orange, pink and red tones. Bonsai.
Deciduous tree 8-12 m. Slow growing. The bark is bright, smooth and cinnamon-colour. In spring, the leaves are dark green above and greenish-blue beneath.

Soak the seeds in cool water for 72 hours and stratify in cold for 6-8 months before the sowing in spring.
It needs humid, deep, fertile and well-drained soils.
It is admired for its decorative exfoliating bark which occurs on its trunk and branches for a long period. Moreover its colours in autumn are really showy.
