In extremely arid conditions, it may remains a small, wiry bush. But can normally grow up to 18m. Small white, creamy flowers, highly aromatic tight clusters. Seeds remain in the flat pods.
Native primarily to the savannahs of Africa (especially Sudan), but also occurring in the Middle East.
Direct sowing. Temperatures 20ºC night/30ºC day. Lightly cover the seeds and maintain the humidity until germination is completed.
