Shrub or small tree valued for its longlasting and beautiful blooming. Very decorative in gardens. Florist. In spite of others, this Wattle tolerates calcareous soils. That is the reason why it is a high-value for grafting. It resists frost and drought. This wattle can be planted in sandy soils to fix the dunes.
Fast growing up to 3-10 m. The bark is soft and greyish. The leaves are thin and light green or bluish-green. They are slightly curved. The flowers are bright yellow with an intense fragrance.
Place the seeds in boiling water for 5 seconds and immediately after transfer to running water with ice cubes in it. Soak for 24h and then proceed to the sowing maintaining temperatures of 20ºC until the germination is completed.
