Ornamental shrub to put color in the garden, for landscaping restauration, to grow in banks and hedges.
Mainly used for clumps, hedges, embankments, edgings. The flowers yield a yellow dye. It is used to make strings or fabrics, baskets and brooms. Phytoremediation plant also used in erosion control. It has medicinal properties such as diuretic and purgative.
Deciduous shrub growing up to 3m. with big clustered yellow and fragrant flowers. Lanceolate leaves. The pod is long, flat and dark brown bearing the seeds.
Adapts to any types of soils. It is found in bushes, woods and embankments.
Place the seeds in bowling water at 90ºC for 10 seconds and immediately after transfer to running water with ice cubes in it. Soak for 24h and then proceed to the sowing.
