SEEDS OF ITALIAN BUCKETHORN - RHAMNUS ALATERNUS

Ornamental shrub for hedges, clumps, rockery. Pot plant. The wood is used in cabinet making and wood-turning.

Evergreen shrub growing up to 8m with a large quantity of clustered little green flowers. Oval and lanceolate leaves with a serrated edge. Red and black berries.

Any soils. It is found in woods and bushes.

Soak the seeds in cool water for 48 hours before sowing at temperatures of 18ºC night/25ºC day.
