SEEDS OF SHOWY HONEY MYRTLE - MELALEUCA NESOPHILA

The flowers are purple in colour with yellow-tipped stamens. Edges, rockeriy and hedges. Pot plant. This species is mainly used for ornamental purposes for its spectacular flowering.

Evergreen shrub up to 6m tall, densily branched. Greyish bark. Aromatic green and elliptic leaves. Showy pink to purple, fluffy and globular flowers at the end of the branch during summer. 

It grows on loam soils from neutral to acid and cool ones.

Direct sowing. Lightly cover the seeds and maintain the humidity until germination is completed.
