Little shrub, purplish-pink flowers. Groundcover, ornamental plant for flowerbeds or planted under large trees to make attractive views.

Honey bee plant widely used in food industry. Medicinal properties: astringent, diuretic, sedative….among many others.

Evergreen shrub of 1m tall whose stump is reddish-brown and woody. The leaves are green and tiny so are the white, pinky flowers. The fruit is in a capsule which contains seeds.

Prefers siliceous, poor, washed and sandy soils.

Direct sowing. Temperatures 8ºC night/15ºC day.
