A pleasant fragrance for this Acacia floribunda. It is used frequently as an ornamental plant in gardens or for hedges. This species is used for its nitrogen fixing properties and it is very useful for controlling erosion especially in ravines and riverbanks.

Place the seeds in boiling water for 5 seconds and immediately after transfer to running water with ice cubes in it. Soak for 24h and then proceed to the sowing maintaining temperatures of 20ºC until the germination is completed.
