It can grow up to 3m. It has white butterfly-like flowers. The leaves are narrow and long. The pods are oval brown-yellowish and filled with 1 or 2 seeds.
It grows on sandy and stony soils. It is found on sandy areas and on coastal dunes.
Place the seeds in boiling water at 90ºC for 5 seconds and immediately after transfer to running water with ice cubes in it. Soak for 24h and then proceed to the sowing.
