Mediterranean shrub with fragrant flowers ideal in hedges, flowerbeds and rockery. Bonsai. It is found in oak groves, cork oak plantations of the Mediterranean regions. It is used for landscapingrestoration and in erosion control.

Evergreen shrub up to 6-8m with large, round and dark-green leaves. Fragrant white flowers, followed by bluish-black berries. Adapts to any soil.

Soak the seeds in cool water for 24 hours before sowing at temperatures of 10ºC/20ºC.
