Direct sowing. Temperatures 15ºC night/20ºC day. Lightly cover the seeds and maintain the humidity until germination is completed.
It prefers stony, dry and sandy soils.
When cooked the roots reveal its diuretic, purgative and anti-inflammatory properties. Honeybee plant. Excellent plant for Mediterranean dunes.
