Aromatic and very ornamental shrub with medicinal properties. It is used to shape hedges and for bonsai.

The berries are used as a condiment. It has balsamic, sedative and antiseptic medicinal properties. Also used against respiratory diseases. The essential oil extracted from the plant is used in perfumery and cosmetic. The wood is well-appreciated in cabinet making and carpentry. Good firewood.

Evergreen shrub of 3m with green aromatic leaves and beautiful, small white flowers. The fruit is a dark-blue edible berry. All the plant is scented.

Adapts to any soils.

Soak the seeds in cool water for 24 hours before sowing in place in Spring.
