It has stimulating, diuretic properties. In Galicia (Spain) branches of this broom are placed on the entrance door of the houses to chase witches away.
Yellow flowering. Compact shrub. 2m tall. Prefers limestone, cool and deep soils.
Place the seeds in boiling water for 5 seconds and immediately after transfer to running water with ice cubes in it. Soak for 24h and then proceed to the sowing maintaining temperatures of 15ºC night/30ºC day until the germination is completed.
