Ornamental shrub ideal for hedges. An excellent shrub for topiary art. Ideal potplant, used in florist art.
Its hard wood has a unique color used for engraving, to make buttons and utensils. It has laxative and homeopathic properties. It is used in case of rheumatism, to cure injuries, baldness, dermatitis.
Evergreen shrub 1.5m tall. The foliage is very dense and thick with dark green leaves. The flowers are small, yellow growing in clusters.
Thrives on most soils, sun or shade.
Soak the seeds in cool water for 24 hours before sowing at temperatures of 5ºC/15ºC.
