Tree-like Yucca with narrow, glaucous green leaves and large panicles of fragrant, creamy-white, tinged purple flowers. Hardy. Coastal areas.

Reaching 7m in height it has large thick azure green and spear-shaped leaves. Scented white flowers with purple spots very showy for their big size. Fleshy, long and green fruit turning dark at maturity.

Planting & care

Soak the seeds in cool water for 24 hours before sowing at temperatures of 20ºC night/30ºC day.

Grows on sandy, light and dry soils.

It tolerates salt, wind and pollution. Be careful not to sting yourself with this plant. It is also grown on grass, flowerbeds, edges and banks.
