SEEDS OF OLEANDER - NERIUM OLEANDER

The Oleander is an ornamental shrub perfect for edges, rockery, hedges and pots. Used for landscaping and windbreaker. Medicinal properties used in pharmacology and cosmetic. It is a poisonous plant for people and pets. Baskets are made from the stems. Caterpillars and moths eat the leaves.

Deciduous shrub growing up to 4m with attractive flowers in mixed colours (pink, red and rarely white). Lanceolate, greyish-green leaves. The reddish pods contain the seeds. Prefers light, neutral and well-drained soils.

Soak the seeds in cool water for 24 hours before sowing at temperatures of 20ºC/25ºC.
