SEEDS OF ADENOCARPUS HISPANICUS - BUCKTHORN

Gorgeous plant native to the Iberian Peninsula. Excellent for hedges, borders and rockery. Very prolific as a honey-bee shrub.

Small evergreen shrub reaching 1,5-2m of height. The yellowish flowers are abundant and scented in spring and summer.

Place the seeds in boiling water at 90ºC for 5 seconds and immediately after transfer to running water with ice cubes in it. Soak for 24h and then proceed to the sowing maintaining temperatures of 15ºC until the germination is completed.

Prefers acid, siliceous and light soils.
