SEEDS OF CHINESE WINDMILL PALM - TRACHYCARPUS FORTUNEI

The Chinese Windmill Palm is an ideal palm tree for parks, gardens and indoor plant. It can be grown in groups or as an isolated tree. As an indoor plant it needs very bright spaces. Landscaping.

It can reach 15m. Big and dark green palmed leaves. Fibrous bark, aromatic yellow flowering between June and July. Grey-blue fruits.

It grows on fertile, well drained and dry soils. Frequent watering without flooding. Very cold hardy. It is recorded to have tolerated -24ºC.

Soak the seeds in cool water for 10-15 days before sowing between February and March. Temperatures of 20ºC/30ºC.
