Popular and elegant palm tree for a garden or as an indoor plant. Does well in parks, gardens and streets in temperate regions. Pot plant.
A tall, slender, feather-leaved palm. It has grass green leaves, a slim trunk, and a long, smooth crownshaft. Fast growing. Requires full sun or high light to develop.
Soak the seeds at room temperature during 4 days and then direct sowing with temperatures of 20º/25ºC. Maintain sowing moist until germination is completed. Cover the sowing with plastic film will help controlling humidity easily and favour germination speed.
