Direct sowing in Spring. Lightly cover the seeds and maintain the humidity until germination is completed.
Requires loamy, light and neutral soils. Hardy and wind tolerant.
Used for ornamental as well as reforestation. This species produces an essential oil used in phytotherapy for respiratory problems.
