This conifer is mainly used for reforestation. Extremely ornamental in a garden as a singular tree. The wood is very aromatic and easy to use. It is a long-life tree that can live 1,000 years. Its wood is rot-resistant for hundreds of years.

A 20-40m tall pyramid-shaped conifer. Green-blue.The cones are green-purple turning brown at maturity. It likes permeable and slightly deep soils.
Cold stratification 4ºC for 30 days or sowing outside in February/March
