The Common Hop is an edible and medicinal plant perfect for natural green walls and humid areas. It is one of the ingredient of the beer.
The tender buds can be eaten as asparagus. The hop has been used since Antiquity in beer making because it gives it flavour and aroma. It is laxative, narcotic, sedative and antidepressant.
Evergreen climber growing up to 8m with green vine-like leaves. The female flowers are pale yellow greenish and the male ones are greenish. Each one grow on different plants. The fruit is aromatic. Native to humid and cold zones of Europe.
Soak the seeds in cool water for 48 hours before sowing.
