The Vetch, widely used and perfect as a green fertilizer, nitrogen fixer for its roots, and very important as a forage plant providing proteins to animals and birds.
Annual plant 30-80 cm. Green oval leaves with a terminal tendril, which occur in pairs leaves. Intense purplish red flowers, solitary or in inflorescences of up to 4 flowers. As a fruit, a black legume when ripe.
Soak the seeds in tap water for 48 h. Drain the seeds without letting them dry and proceed to sowing afterwards. Temperatures for optimal germination will be 20ºC at night / 30ºC during the day.
