Wheat is known as one of the most cultivated species to obtain flour to elaborate bread.

Annual, fast growing grass with tall stem. Long and lanceolate leaves. Numerous flowers in spike. The whole plant is green in its growth, then it becomes an intense golden brown at maturity.
