This species of reed is wonderful for marshes and wet places. It is very common in the Mediterranean and in the North of Europe.
Evergreen up to 65cm tall with slender, thin stems. Leaves growing from the base. semi-cylindrical and small, like its tiny flowers that grow in clusters. Yellowish-green in color.
This plant is not edible for livestock.
