This species of medick is perfect for attracting wildlife as well as for fixing nitrogen to the soil. Widely used as good quality forage and for crop rotation as it improves the life of the soil.
Perennial and short-lived grass, up to 50cm tall. Oval green leaves with serrated edges and small flowers that grow in the form of yellow clusters. Black fruit that when rubbed, the seed is easily released.
It has soothing and antibacterial properties. Its leaves and seeds can be used for food.
