Wild and aromatic plant to be be used as a cut flower to make dry bunches. It is grown in edges and pots. Its ripe pods are highly ornamental.
Perrenial growing up to 1.40m with purple and clustered flowers and big heart-shaped leaves. Oval, flat and smooth pods becoming transparent when ripe.
It grows on neutral to acid and fresh soils.
Soak the seeds in cool water for 24 hours before sowing at temperatures of 5ºC night/15ºC day.
