This Pastel herb is famous for producing green dye from the dust of its leaves.
Annual, robust, thin and tall stems, branched up to 70c0m. The leaves at the base dry up quickly, and the upper ones are oval and oblong, dark green. Yellow flowers with 4 petals that grow in clusters. The fruits are very showy, elongated and hanging, and appear at the same time as the flowers.
Widely used as a fodder plant, its oil in cosmetics or its roots in traditional Chinese medicine.
Sowing at a depth of 0.5cm and with an optimum temperature for germination of 16-18ºC.
